This code, which is issued in compliance with Art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/03 ("Personal Data
of data users must read this code carefully under their own responsibility and also fill out the
electronic form on the website.
Data processed and the purpose of the processing
The types of personal data processed are obtained from the surfing data, the data provided
voluntarily by users of the website, and from the cookies. The surfing data are those acquired from
the website during its normal operations, such as by way of example, data communicated through
use of the internet protocols. No data will be disclosed or disseminated. The data provided by users
when they register with ‘Book your visit’, request the Press kits, or send comments to the website
through the ‘What Users Say About Us’ form, will not be disclosed to third parties or used in any

purpose is to make it possible for the Museo Leonardiano to book the Museum visit and deliver the
printed material to the user, in the third case, the purpose is to allow the user to post comments or

Processing of data and the data controller
The data are processed with automated instruments by the personnel of the Museo Leonardiano and
only for the time necessary for fulfilling the purposes for which they have been collected. Specific
security measures are implemented to prevent the loss of data, their unlawful or incorrect use, and
access by unauthorised subjects. The subjects to whom the personal data refer have the right at all
times to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them exist and to be
informed of the contents and source of the personal data, checking the exactness of the same and
requesting the integration, updating or rectification of their data (Article 7 of the Personal Data
Protection Code). In accordance with the same article, data subjects have the right to request the
erasure, anonymisation or blocking of data that have been processed unlawfully, as well as
objecting, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of their personal data. The Data Controller is the
